Oh, well, I see: 'This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices'.
Why would I want all this stuff to be available on my phone?
I assume it will still be available on my computer via the website? Maybe I'm just overly mistrustful, but I find this hugely manipulative. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

But they do.
For a more personalised service. Or data collection as it is also known.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I am not a number, I am a free man.

Increasingly, radio accounts for less of my enjoyment of music. I have hundreds of CDs, and make a point of listening to all or part of at least 1 every day. Any that don't appear to have been played of late and no longer appeal are ruthlessly culled and carted off to one of our (many) local charity shops - where I regularly pick up more CDs to replace those of I've just disposed of (!). And there's lots to see on Youtube! I also enjoy live concerts put on by Music in Felixstowe.
(Having said that, I'm increasingly turning to '3 Breakfast' as an escape from the increasingly bizarre debate surrounding Br*x*t. But on most days, I very rarely listen to Radio 3 again unless there's a particularly interesting Lunchtime Concert).

Anton Bruckner CoW - really good listen so far this week
Lunchtime Concert - Schubert E Flat Piano Trio - I have several recordings on CD and must have played it dozens of times over the years but I'll still look forward to hearing a new live interpretation by young performers
Afternoon Concert - interesting enough programme of old and new, familiar and unfamiliar.
Choral Evensong from St John's Cambridge - not such an addict as some on here but I'll certainly stay tuned.
Brahms Violin Sonata - New Generation Artists get air time, as they surely should.
