Yes, am exasperated by its layout, I think it’s lousy. Massive fail by the Beeb imho, all things considered. But not as exasperated as I am by the fact that Sonos seems to crash my router and vice versa almost daily atm. Never had this problem with FM............

The only reason I got the app was because download seemed to have stopped working on radio iPlayer. As the problem seems to have been a temporary one I’ll stick with it for the time being.

Agreed - but for how long...?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Agreed. If they dispensed with the superfluous round photos accompanying each channel link on the start page they could fit it more links to main channels there. As it is, if you want Five Live or Six Music you have to click a sideways arrow to get there - hardly a major major hazard but tiresome and unnecessary.

....if it is just straight forward and easy to use - what would become of the workers making it pretty/dynamic/happening....?? Answer made to sit on their hands for weeks on end....

Apols if covered already, but I see now you can’t rewind in a playing program in the app, but you can do so on the website. Whoever developed this should be banished to the most farcical of W1A conference rooms.

I am so out-of-it that I am not certain that I am in the proper thread or even how to express my concern. I simply know that one morning I switched on Radio 3, only to find Radio Wales. I made many attempts to find the right wavelength but got nowhere. Since I more or less have given up on Radio 3, it would have come as little surprise had I discovered that it had been removed from the air since the last time I listened, as some other perplexed people suggested. I eventually went to a local shop where I was told that even they had not known about the change. Apparently I can only listen via the television, which is not very convenient if I am not in the same room as the receiver. Although I am within 800 metres of a cabinet with fibre optic facilities, BT refuse to connect me. There is no mobile signal available, so it appears that I have to live, a short distance from the Capitol, in third-world conditions.

                    Don't know if this applies?

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

All for bilingualism, but I can't understand why am I getting some link headings on the BBC Sounds Radio 3 page in Welsh only? If I have somehow opted for that, I can't see how. Have they detected that my surname is of Welsh origin and jumped to conclusions?

I had this happen last year with the weather page and was at a complete loss as to why, not least because even though I hadn't used the site for a long time I knew I wouldn't have changed any of the settings. Attempts to ask for advice from the Beeb led to 'you must have changed the settings at some time'. I can't remember if I fixed it myself or it sorted itself, but as I only use the site very infrequently, for comparison purposes, it wasn't a matter of great importance.
