Sullivan, RVW and Tippett wrote settings of Ariel's Full Fathom Five from The Tempest.

Noon - Vaughan Williams:Silent Noon, Tiomkin:High Noon, however the link between the four composers could be links to the Royal College of Music. Sullivan was the first Principal there, RVW and Tippett studied there and Tiomkin recorded an album of his film music there with the RCM Orchestra conducted by Sir David Willcocks.

They all died in London, but then a lot of people do, that’s why I avoid it as much as possible!

The opera question is not my strong subject - I can only suggest that something was performed at all four, someone was the MD of all four, or someone performed at all four.
