What an odd question. Why should it? And anyway, the last time I checked, Rupert Murdoch was Australian.

Besides which, despicable as this act undoubtedly was, blaming Mr. Murdoch for every idiotic decision within his organisation seems a bit like blaming the conductor when a 2nd Violinist plays a duff note.

Just because he's got a US passport doesn't make him American. He's Australian by birth.
