    Where's Simon?

Simon seems to have been absent from these boards for rather a long time. Perhaps he finally had enough of the name-calling and juvenalia that were so often hurled in his direction by certain posters who did not share his political viewpoints. (You know who you are.....)

Anyway, if you're still reading these boards, Simon, I at least would wecome you back. The voices of realism and common sense are few and far between!!

Simon arrived back here towards the end of June, Mr Pee after about a two-month absence.

He's behaved in a very civilised fashion to date, and we all hope that this continues

Regarding your reference to juvenalia - wiki says 'Not to be confused with Juvenilia.' .... but you did!

Well, they say a week is a long time in politics too, Mr Pee ...

It's a question you can find the answer to yourself by going to the member list, clicking on 'Simon' to go to his Profile Page, then click on 'Find All Posts' and you will see - in this case - that he posted on 29 June at 14.19.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Perhaps Mr Pee was referring to the satirical comments about the Prof?

Or perhaps even the games instituted by Nero in C.E 59, at the age of 21, in commemoration of his shaving his beard for the first time?

Makes you proud to be British!

I notice from Simon's page that his last activity was on the 2nd July.

And that he "has not made any friends yet"

Mr Pee asked a question and it's been answered.

            Thread closed.

NB I haven't made any friends either
