    DCMS Committee to question Lord Hall and Anne Bulford OBE on the BBC at Media City

    The Digital, Culture, Media and Sports Committee will hear from Director-General Lord Hall of Birkenhead and Deputy Director-General Anne Bulford OBE on Tuesday 11th September at 9.30 in an oral evidence session on the BBC Annual Report and Accounts 2017-2018.



    MPs will likely ask the witnesses, amongst other subjects, about: how well the BBC is meeting its aim of reinventing the BBC for a new generation; how the BBC is tackling the gender pay gap and equal pay issues; how the BBC is approaching funding and income growth; and how the board is acting to address concerns over Personal Service Companies.



    The oral evidence session is open to members of the media and public. Please note security checks will be in place and photo ID will be required for entry. Attendees are advised to leave sufficient time to pass through the checks.

    Annual grilling. Having just come back from my holiday travelling, I don't think I got round to looking at the Annual Report.
    It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
