Eddie Mair did say (in introducing an item on alcohol, I think) that for many listeners he realised the programme coincided with wine-o-clock, but added that in the studio they started a lot earlier.

....Evan rarely gets a coherent line of questioning/listening to answer/not interupting....one of the worst I'd say - by far....nice bloke....BASICALLY no politicians bother turning up to be interviewd these days....almost NEVER....[we asked the Ministry of Blaa for a Spokesperson -but none was offered]Last edited by eighthobstruction; 20-09-18, 15:56.bong ching
