Keith Tippett, who made such decisive contributions to In The Wake Of Poseidon, Lizard and Islands, has suffered a heart attack and complications from pneumonia. The pianist, who is 71, is at home convalescing but is unable to work at all for the foreseeable future.

Friends of Tippett are rallying round to help and if you’ve enjoyed any of Keith’s work with King Crimson or any of his Fripp-produced albums such as September Energy and Blueprint your support for Keith would be timely and welcome.

Not a bit of it. Having much enjoyed his contributions over the years (and I still treasure Septober Energy et al on LP), I'm trying to work out how to make a donation via PayPal*.
