Only Artists R4

....sorry to start another negative thread....but....anybody else fed up with the fare since Mid Week was axed....I'm totally and utterly fed up with Only Artists, I have to turn off the vague (some of it interestingly vague) abstract (ditto) self entwined/intertwined personal twiddly-diddly about how and why they make art/do art....i like a bit of serendipity like this every now and again (here and there)....but not every Weds at 0900hrs, I'm too too cynical at that time of morning, I start talking back to the radio as soon as Only Artists comes on....until I hit the off 5 minutes/30 secs into prog....(the Toyah Wilcox one the worst...."I'm Toyah Wilcox....the rest of you are boring....I've done such wonderful stuff")....

....tried R3 this morning but excepting some good viola degamba, it was a bit too crash bang wallop for me....Oh oh oh this strife....

Yes indeed - I switched off and turned on the telly for The Wright Stuff on 4, and its much more interesting guest subjects, eg Christopher Biggins, Lowry Turner and Vince Cable.

I really liked this (a bit biased as one of my "mates" was on it a while ago)
I loved the Toyah one where she said something like "my husband is a bit of a musician"

Shobana Jeyasingh was good this morning as well with some very interesting and perceptive observations.

Ed: I'm not knocking Toyah she is remarkable in some ways....just the programme....the wrong thing for me at that time, I need something a bit more neutral....
