It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I caught up with it via the iplayer yesterday, and thought you both Done Good in the difficult circs which seem to be inevitable on these sorts of programmes. The BBC just will not admit it's wrong. I noticed the same attitude later in the programme when they were discussing the daily switch off of national radio services from the late afternoon to allow BBC Alba to be broadcast on digital terrestrial TV.
The alleged "wide ranging consultation" certainly passed me by, and thousands of others.

I'm shocked to find that FF's initials are in fact SS and that p'raps she's been playing me for a fool (not difficult, some might say ) all along and is in fact Simon Says' alter ego

I have a genuine admiration for those few straightforward people who register under their (real!) first name + second name. No messin'. I feel you know exactly who you're dealing with. But all the rest of us, sly, secretive, even sinister (in some cases) pseudonyms, hmmmm, I wouldn't trust us an inchIt isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. So in sum, what can you tell from a proper name one way or the other? I daresay there are a few people who'd recognise the idiosyncratic "me" behind my posts no matter what my pseudonyms may be.

In earlier incarnations you were brave enough to share photographs of yourself, and were happy to recount very personal anecdotes of your feelings. If people had wanted to find out who you were it wouldn't have been too difficult!
