I am disoriented*. Lunch in deepest Wallonie (ironically, in Spa) included two bottles of Gouden Carolus (10.5%) and I had to lie down afterwards, thus missing the interminable preparation for the interminable meal tonight, although it may mean I will be able to stay awake (not always the case these days). I may be preoccupied later, so,
      Schine Chrischtdag an als!

      *possibly disorientated. Robert-Collins seems uncertain.

A very happy Christmas from the damp and misty Fylde Coast. The wind is getting up: I hope it doesn't blow Santa's sleigh off course

Looking around the living room I am thinking that it seems a shame to take down the Xmas decorations, they'll only have to go back up again soon.

25 March would be very appropriate.

Good, I can procrastinate a bit more.

No bad luck would indicate that the theory I was told to believe as a child must have been wrong, then...

I've noticed that more and more people ignore the 'Twelfth Night' rule and leave some lights in the garden or around the front door. I guess people need some cheer in this depressing world.

                      Who mentioned Brexit?

I always think we should ration the things that bring us cheer, then we'll appreciate them fully. Then again, I always was a bit of a puritan!

Up to a point, yes. Not sure it applies to music though.....

Round here we currently need all the light we can get, firelight, candlelight and fairylights!

There's a tree in a garden up the road which still had coloured lights on a few days ago. Perhaps waiting for the snow to go.
