    'Babylon Berlin' - Sky Atlantic

'Babylon Berlin' the new series on Sky Atlantic has recently started. I've seen 2 episodes and I love it already! Politics, police (honest and crooked) violence, sex, s&m, drugs and addicts, gangsters, porn shoots, Trotskyists, ptsd and wonderful burlesque jazz scenes. Glamour, decadence and debauchery set in 1929 Berlin during Weimar Republic. So much going on and beautifully shot! Best entertainment on TV I've seen this year.

Which, Stanf? (Given what Trotsky did to the Anarchists in 1920, there'd be no love lost between Trotskists and Anarchists in 1929.)

      Hiya ferny.

Don't take it too seriously. What I've written is intended to be a light-hearted alert not a History dissertation.

Alas, Mrs. PG refuses to have anything associated with Rupert Murdoch in the house. Me getting 'The Times on my iPad is JUST tolerated.

            Sensible woman!

(I'm not supposed to say that - apparently it upsets/annoys some other Forumistas.)

Some might suggest it to be a tautology.
