Badly designed box sets

I don't know why, but I don't seem to have had a problem with any of the box sets I've bought. The 'book format' ones come with inherent spindling problems (I'm thinking of the Mlles Davis boxes, for instance) but I can't say they've caused me anything I'd want to complain about.

The Berlin Phil's own label boxes can be a bit of a pain. Very sturdy, but awkward shape and size, and quite fiddly getting the discs out and back safely. Even weirder is this:



The card sleeves are all hinged to the base of the box.
