    BBC Annual Plan 2017-2018

    Summary here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/lat...l-plan-2017-18

    Full version here: https://downloads.bbc.co.uk/aboutthe...an_2017-18.pdf

From a cursory read there don't appear to be any significant changes planned for Radio 3.

A bit of interesting language around the requirement to register to access iplayer ( including iplayer radio)in the near future.

"We need to understand more on what people are watching to ensure we are providing something for everyone. Up until now, we could only tell how many people used BBC iPlayer, but having more data like age, gender and location will ensure we’re better serving all our audience."

" We want etc " would have been closer to the mark.

Personally, I don't really want a personalised, and intrusive " service " of this sort, but apparently I'm very suspicious of big organisations.........
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Me too, and not only of big ones. I intend to stay opted out as long as, and to the greatest extent that, I can. You will not find me on Arsebook or in the murmuration of twits, either.

Actually, I was going to add something along the lines of " not just big organisations", but decided not to.

No spybook for me either, Bryn.
I Confess to having a Twitter account,( can't remember why) but I need to delete it,i t is full of absolute drivel( incoming, not outgoing !!) quite a bit of it from BBC presenters, I'm sorry to say.
I don't think getting rid of my twitter account is going to make my life worse.
Incidentally, I assume one will be able to access iplayer radio without a licence, even though there will be the need to register ?
