Rain. Grey cloud. Gloomy. 5 degrees. More rain.

And I got my Poll Tax bill this morning.

Shurely Shome mishtake, Bbm? The rain took a bit longer to clear, but from the huge clouds now piling up all around, the "promise" of thundery showers is bound to materialise somewhere this afternoon.

Mine arrived yesterday. From a purely selfish POV I have to congratulate Southwark BC for having kept the council tax frozen for so long; if my extra £6 per month goes towards the council's social responsibilities at least, I shan't personally be complaining.

Well the rain did take longer to clear. I should have updated really. At the moment today, sunny. I hope we don't get any white stuff this weekend, as me and MrsBBM are going to a concert!

Currently rather murky but mild and occasional indications of the sun's existence; probably a good idea to get out for a walk before wet stuff starts. Unpleasantness due to hit tomorrow(not least due to the wind going round to the colder side of easterly, never that welcome when living on the east of the country) but as I'll be spending the day in a B minor mass rehearsal/workshop at a venue within walking distance that shouldn't matter too much.

Today sunny so far and though there are some dark clouds up there the has not been spoiled yet. Also I heard the blackbird herald the dawn - is there a Spring out there, or is my glass more than half full with a false promise?

Overcast, with that very fine sleety-drizzle that penetrates every layer of clothing you're wearing here in the Pennines. Was contemplating a freebie piano recital in Leeds, but don't fancy sitting drenched for an hour.

Thankfully, the new NMC Ferneyhough disc was delivered this morning, so I know what I'll be doing this afternoon!

                      Snow here.

I have inspected the flakes with my microscope.

Some are of the Dotard variety and the others are Little Rocket Man.

Or was that the lettuce seeds I bought?

I’ve been looking at the radar map of The Weather Channel. Most interesting how it shows the snow spreading.

                          Regular snow shaped snow here.

                            You would say that.

I think you might be involved in these weather patterns in some way.

Light snow showers here but also a shockingly cold and vicious wind. It's a two pairs of jumpers, two pairs of trousers, woolly hat day!

                                Same here. (And that's indoors!)
