    Eh?

I must be being unusually slow today - all I'm saying is that I only slightly remember it because, while advanced, I was merely foetal by three months at the time. At best, it means I have an instinctive understanding of the location of Grays Inn Road. And I took the bus home eight days after my arrival just as the snow was arriving for the next half year. That bit I remember vividly including the precise fare, all of the chipping of icebergs off the cot and the fact that Dylan had played his first ever gig in London on the first night so as to coincide.

Different gender, agreed, but not colour: the head would have been visible unless he or she had a total white head dress on, like the Ku Klux Klan, maybe.

I don't think the possibility of headwear was discounted,so we still have a wide range of likely persons.

Some of that heavy, very fine rain here today and chilly, so chilly that the heating is back on both at work and home. The heatwave just over a week ago is but a distant memory already.

Rather dull and overcast today. Methinks rain!

Seems a tornado cloud was reported over your way earlier today, Bbm!

Muggy and rather cloudy for the ride up to Cadogan Hall this lunchtime, but dry, apart, that is, for my shirt on return, now substituted for a fresh T-shirt.

Stopped off halfway back for a choc ice cone at Nardulli's in Clapham Old Town - still the best ice cream in London, I reckon.

Beautiful July 1st oop 'ere. Sun, breeze. brilliant light, people out strolling, enjoying.
But beginning to grey over p.m.
And now - 8 p.m. - the fells have completely vanished in deep, thick mist / rain and yukkiness.

One of our choir's summer concert pieces is Elgar's 'As torrents in summer'.... The irony/aptness was not lost on the audience feeling the chill of damp flagstones around their ankles.
It's good to see the sun today and, more importantly, feel the temperature rise.
