The cold front passed through in the last couple of hours here, with less wind and rain than I'd been led to expect, but a drop from 13 C at noon to 9 C now. Predictions are being made for temperatures widely in the low 20s next Tuesday across southern England, and pretty warm elsewhere, but another big fall by the Easter weekend, which is, sadly, a strangely common occurrence, climate change notwithstanding.
I was right about the tornadoes Stateside - terrible destruction, substantially built houses reduced to the appearance of Cubist sculptures, eight deaths, so far.
