For some reason BT have stopped letting me using exactly the same email address and password I've used for fifteen plus years.
And NONE of the BT 'help' pages are reacting either.
    Have I been hacked?
BT is hopeless for customer services UNLESS you do what I did in desperation. As my work involves (or should I say involved!) being contacted by phone, email and other internet-based 'platforms', I just had to get a reliable fix. So about 5 years ago I signed up for BT Business at HUGE expense. Luckily the expense is tax-deductable. The benefits are instant telephone help from a knowledgeable person in the UK plus a guarantee to get your line fixed within 6 hours. The bills creep up (BT being what they are) and every year I ring up and say "This is getting too expensive for me, and I'm thinking of leaving" and they miraculously find a new special deal which knocks about one-third off the bill. Until it starts creeping up again.

Sorry this isn't much help, as it isn't wise for a non-business line. Is there a local computer guru nearby who could help?

PS Are you using a PC to do emails? And do you have an iPhone? If you have, try sending an email on that and see if it works.

Bags of 'soft refreshing' down here in the SW! 'Our gardener' - Mrs LMP - is much pleased
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Classic "thundery sky" gathering here now - altocumulus castellanus in two layers. I remember a cloudscape just like this in the S of France when I was on a school exchange, and it was followed by a day of thunderstorms, followed by a strong Mistral, which cleared all the accumulated fug of Saharan origin away. Whether or not it will actually thunder here is another matter...

Please save some for us! I can't remember the last time it rained here. Perhaps it will pass over Dulwich/Crystal Palace and then turn NE (or thereabouts)

Yes a dose of it this morning, but it only lasted two or three hours here. Lots more needed for the gardens and crops. Preferably at night!

The wind's been blowing from the East but it's clouding over from the West .....

We had some rain during the night. Still looks as though we could have more. Strange how this always happens at the weekend! Although being retired, that doesn’t make much difference.

It has rained! Not much and the wind has already dried much up, but it will have cleared the air(and made windows etc filthy!) and laid the dust and dry soil. Striking difference in the local forecasts today and in the disposition of rain clouds on the maps. I am roughly equidistant between the recording stations for Met and Beeb(which are about 30 miles apart as the crow flies), but depending on which I go for I might get somewhat chilly and damp or almost certainly very cold and wet.
May still have to go round with the watering can later today, as many of the potted plants are in the rain shadow of a fence. Won't have to worry about windowsill seedlings getting cooked this morning though with all this cloud.

Still dust-dry up here - clouds about but coming from east, so...who knows? Maybe I won't have to water tonight....not holding my breath, tho'!!

About an inch of good rain yesterday. Vegetable patch waiting for beans and courgettes has friable soil rather than concrete clods. Lawn, rock hard a few days ago, yields pleasantly to thumb pressure.

After a good wet day yesterday, today is light grey but dry. Not much chance of more rain till next Fri/ Sat according to the online weather. Spiffing say I, but Mrs LMP may disagree

We need rain, but not today, please!
Washed the mattress cover as well as the sheets today, so ideally a good drying day is called for before being able to remake the bed later (no tumble drier here, but the 'boiler room' might have to serve as an early evening airing cupboard!).

Well so far not what I'd call rain, more intermittent leakage, but blooming chilly for doing the errands late morning. There might be a bit more wet during the afternoon but then it's back to watering duties for the foreseeable.
