No, it's shining through my windows from a mostly blue sky.

Yes - and the forecasters got this one badly wrong, having predicted the low as travelling E across N France, with its northern boundary rain belt just scraping the S Coast, instead of which the low has gone ENE up the Channel with its rain area extended as far north as the S Midlands and Wales. Some places along the Hants, Sussex and Kent coastline are receiving their heaviest rainfall this winter; and Dartmoor has received a good dollop of snow earlier. I have to admit having got this one wrong myself. With the jet now weaker and pushing weather systems along more slowly, this is going to take its time clearing. It's back to windy westerlies everywhere by Sunday.

Sorry, but thus far, fingers crossed, up here we've had a totally dry day, no wind to speak of, and quite a lot of sun.
However, what hatches next........aha, well........we shall see!

........and 4hrs later, no rain, still dry, almost wind, not too cold.
I am as astonished as others who must be grinding grrrrrrrrrrrs!!

Bloody hammered it down all the way to Eastbourne and most of the way back today. LOTS of lying water. Nasty.
And its really cold now.
