Still a brisk cold wind, but the fitful appearance of the sun is helping to moderate it. Good drying day for the washing.

The "North Sea Cloud" (generic for stratocumulus spreading in from cold north sea at this time of year) seems to have unexpectedly dispersed completely, along with all the fug, making for a brilliantly clear and sunny day here today, which means it will probably warm up more than was forecast.

There is no equivalent phrase to this in Italian.

Gorgeous here, with a modest breeze.

Likewise - cloudless with a nice breeze.

              Truck-o?

(You can tell I don't possess at Italian dictionary, in spite of having Italians as my next-door neighbours!)

Hot and windy yesterday, the same today as well it looks like.

Not hot, but certainly sunny and breezy.

Tomorrow will be another matter altogether, and anyone not enamoured of very, very high temperatures (like me) might be advised to stay indoors, and keep windows and curtains shut. It'll only be for one day, so that's a relief.

Cloudless, BIG breeze here but as soon as it stops, nicely hot - how many times have we been able to say THAT this year?

Yes, I've had to change my plans for tomorrow. The local heritage railway is having its 3 day Steam Gala this weekend, and I had intended riding the trains and doing some ambles round the pretty town and watermeadows at the other end. A gammy foot limits the walking options rather and lack of cooling makes the carriages an unattractive prospect sadly. It would have been better to do it today but appointments ruled that out and I'm working on Sunday. Ah well, I'm grateful we're not sharing what continental Europe is facing, and there will be other occasions to be reminded of how filthy steam was(but the smell is still better than diesel...), possibly even at the bottom of my garden.

Not here, you’ve nicked our sun - 16C here - dull and cloudy!

                              ditto here.
Bits of sun occasionally, but sultry and grey, and virtually windless.
                              BUT
increasingly heavy and even oppressive without sun.

Absolute scorcher here with just a slight breeze, an ideal June day. Unlike some, I love it like this but sad that it looks like being a one day heatwave.
