That green icing gets everywhere! Our local brass band does a great version - not unlike this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USf1...ature=youtu.be

Sadly, nothing as characterful! The fact that the gaps make it something of a SUDS(sustainable urban drainage system) would be desirable if it weren't for the proximity to the house foundations and the fact that it gets the majority of next door's back roof drainage(getting that sorted is not easy as they don't see the problem). For some reason the paving, which is 3 different types of(mismatched )slab was laid with 2" joints - perhaps to reduce the number of slabs needed - so where the mortar has come away in chunks is very noticeable.

Are we going to have a nice day, today?

Pretty chilly in London, where I am spending a day or two. Dry, at least.

Sun just coming out in E Cornwall though still cool. I'd expected more after Petroc said on Breakfast that it was the West that'd do best today.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Chilly here in central Scotland too. Rather dull.

I think it’s going to be rather uninspiring day today?

When does 'breezy' become 'windy' - according to BBC etc etc forecasts?
Is there some official mph regulation?

BTW, oop 'ere, it's a boisterous easterly, + bags of sun, + bags of cloud de temps en temps.

                            #2797 might help?
Raw cold here this morning, but once the sun got going and dried up the frost and indecisive drizzle things got a bit better. Not a day for standing still too long though.

Many thanks to S-A for the welcome to London. It was sunny as we walked across Victoria Park earlier, but on the way back from our swim it was drizzling, and it has continued pretty cold.
