Looks a good one here this morning, and now a cloudless sky!

Glorious spring day which I'm mostly having to appreciate from indoors as a streaming cold is exacerbated by fresh air - and I suspect the pollen flying around.

Oh, sorry to hear that, DM.

Quite glorious here, must be about 15 degrees and wall to wall sunshine. Got loads done in the garden, front bank now looking like somebody at least tries to care..........and a nice walk to boot.

Perhaps a week of lovely spring weather in London will bring out the best in our politicians..............

Bad luck oddy, as it's been a lovely clear and sunny day down here, almost cloudless, albeit somewhat on the cool side. Great for getting on the bike though. Just now back from a 15 mile cycle ride to Greenwich and back, by way of Beckenham. Should have been 12 miles, but I took a wrong turning to try and avoid a final climb up to here, and ended up having to climb it anyway! Lots of "lycrists" out, to coin a new word; smiling families thronging in the parks - tiny tots on tricycles all over the place, dogs to avoid, skunk weed wafting on the breeze! Now my legs are killing me. My knees, actually. Amkneesia, I believe it's called.

Assuming there's a best to be brought out...
There's no doubt though that a bit of decent weather goes a long way to make life better and folks happier, and heaven knows that's needed at the moment.

Good here again today - a little chill in the wind but lovely blue sky and bright sun.

More cloud but only very fleeting sun obstruction. The wind is gusty, strong and rather cold - just seen it's due north and been gusting up to 30mph so that might explain it!

I think so here BBM - there's a song down here which is appropriate to day - 'It never rains in Cornwall, there's always a bright blue sky. It never rains in Cornwall, and the Cornish never lie!'

You'd need to be a Cornish patsy to believe that!

Plenty of sunshine here today, and lighter winds than yesterday should make it feel a bit warmer: conditions ideal for another 12-mile cycle ride this afternoon. Who knows? the Dr may order me to stop such strenuous exercise when I go for my annual MOT tomorrow!

Good luck, S-A: last time I had some interesting tests but refused to worry about any of them.
