Only 14C here - much cooler than the 16C max forecast for the London 'burbs, though very pleasant for a 4-mile walk around the more... scenic districts hereabouts!

18C up here in Staffordshire and it makes a nice change to be warmer than London. Thank goodness that the vicious easterly wind has now gone. However, in a glass half full attitude, I worry about this fine weather coming too early and we get a deluge when we least want it, in June and July. Good to see Jersey Royals in the supermarket yesterday as they're a real taste of summer.
