In this neck of the woods we do our own version at this time of the year, where cultivated fields as yet lacking plant cover become very dry in easterly winds and no rain and then said winds lift the topsoil - and seeds in some cases. Living on an unmade road doesn't help either, I brush the dust off the windscreen before I use the car. The rain arrived here after lunch and was heavy enough to wash the dust, as thin mud, off the roof of the car while I was driving home after the vol gardening stint. Nasty scratching sound from the wipers. Laying the dust does make things easier on the eyes though.

Hopefully, it’s going to be a great day, today. If it stays fine, I’ll be going out for a saunter on my scooter, just before lunchtime, with MrsBBM and BBMPuppy!

A large quantity of rain last night (complete with saharan sand payload), but today wall to wall sun and blue sky. Bit of an edge to the breeze, but not uncomfortably so.

As it was such a good day, yesterday, I went for a saunter on my motobility scooter. So good being outside. Just a bit of a chill in the air, but invigorating. Otherwise, I’m inside, if the weather is otherwise!
