Ditto. Rather a lot of breeze and with a chilly edge to it which is knocking the temperature back a bit. Never mind, will be useful for the washing going out in a while.

Make the most of these late August temperatures - on Monday they are due to come down with a rather large bump as reality kicks in!

As it's rather cloudy and breezy today, I think I shall postpone my "final long run" until tomorrow, when it is expected to be a bit sunnier and warmer.

Change is a foot, we were told just now by the forecaster on BBC1.

                  Upon my sole!

Sinister or dextrous, first or wrong?

I thought it was longer than that.

You're thinking of the long range forecast which uses the furlong but is prone to inaccuracy as there is disagreement about how long a fur is.

Well, at least it's not a metre in this brave new Imperial world!

I’ll say this ten time - Need to bring out the chain!
In any case should this measurement be furlonged along with the chain operators.

Quite a dull day today. Not very inspiring.
