The already low temps(high of 7 degrees...) here are being well knocked back by the wind. I don't think the coastal destinations hereabouts need fear a mass influx of Easter day trippers; there will be visitors, but they'll be the 'happy healthies' (as our family used to term them) and dog walkers I imagine, rather than family outings.

Yes, the stratocumulus ("North Sea Cloud") has broken up nicely into islands of pancake cloud in less than the hour since I last posted. Temperature has yet to reach 10 C - quite a shock after last week's June levels to anyone uprepared!

Overjoyed to receive the call for my second jab this morning - this to take place at ten to nine next Wednesday morning, at the local surgery, a mere ten minutes' walk away. "Not too early for you, I take it?" asked the lass in Reception!

Pleased for you Draco - we should have something a bit more springlike here tomorrow. Somewhat concerned looking a little further ahead as Tuesday is the day the first trio of volunteer gardeners are being allowed back on site at work after the second Covid layoff but the indications are that frost is pretty well definite and snow is quite possible...

Brilliant sun, cloudless blue sky and definitely feeling milder thank heavens, partly due to less wind. Looking forward to spending time in the garden, although the high pollen count may be a problem.
