Yep - low cloud rapidly spreading over here now, too, promising another claggy, if mildish, weekend, here at any rate.

Has anyone else noticed that the Fisherman's Friend-sponsored weather forecasts on CH5 never offer temperatures? I wonder - why might this be? Are they involved in costly lawsuits to stop themselves being made to name-change to Fisherpeople's Friend that would make paying for temperatures from the Met or wherever would be too expensive? Or could it be that in this rush-rush age, knowing what the temperature is going to be would amount to TOO MUCH INFORMATION for our jostled brains/lifestyles to cope with? And, "Sorry, we're out of time"? I don't know about anybody else, but saying "it's going to be warm today" is not good enough: what is warm to this woman won't be warm to that man, etc etc.

Those slots don't offer any useful info, a waste of space - but presumably a nice deal for the manufacturer.

And here too. Feels much colder indoors than it does out in recent days so heating on at normal winter level.

A pleasant day yesterday and due to be fine today as well. Very cold last night, cars well frosted up and the back door thermometer showing -2 degrees minimum.

Frosty (phone says 2C, feels like -1C) here too, but bright.
One load of washing in already, so I might get a fairly decent amount of outdoor drying done, but more probably it will just hang there staying wet!

Rather uninspiring day today but I think no rain! Might go out!

I was telling the guy upstairs where I'd been when he asked yesterday. He then proposed we take joint walks together in the afternoons, because, being prematurely retired, he gets bored easily and needs the exercise to lose weight. The trouble is, he is 15 year my junior, and walks twice as fast as me!
