By alright I take it you mean it won’t rain but will not be as as warm as yesterday! Some rain maybe here later and heavier stuff overnight.

Set to be a sunny warm/hot day, the morning murk having cleared early - if indeed it happened at all, not much sign of mist during the night.

Stuffy for September last night and at the moment feels like we're in for another warm day - perhaps the last it seems, so I intend to make the most of it by going for a longer-than-usual walk.

Something evidently changed overnight. It was supposed to be dry in the morning with rain arriving midday on, but it has started raining already, and the forecast is showing it will be around for a while yet, with a possible clearing late morning before the afternoon wet. So much for my plans to get the last bit of grass cut, and then have a dry walk into town for errands. On the plus side the plants I've been clearing from the border and putting in temporary quarters won't need watering.

Major water main burst in the early hours of yesterday, so that meant no showers, managed to have a cuppa or two though. Affected the whole area! It was a lovely day too.pity as today doesn’t look as good.

Sea fog - a haar - being the once-commonly used colloquialism in the NE, although my mum used to swear the terms actually used was sea fret, in her part of if: Middlesbrough.

Still waiting on the main rain band down here, actually still quite warm too - time to get out for some shopping.

Well here, it rained a lot from around 9:30 till about 1; then that stopped and the sun came out during the walk from the supermarket about 45 minutes ago.

Here, it’s been raining off and on. A pity as we have friends coming.

Rain much of yesterday, though fairly gentle and therefore good for the garden.
Pouring down this morning though!

Hoping it won't last all day, as I need to pop to the local Coop for some milk.
