    Where next?
Slow warm-up by the weekend, though the "experts" aren't quite sure about that. Much of today's forecasting is done by modelling, in part on the basis of past precedent. Today's climate change is making rather a dog's dinner of relying on precedent, however, and they're having to sometimes resort to the wetness or otherwise of the dog's nose, and other old nose-trums...

Oops - I just split an infinitive!

Indeed SA. Public places will no doubt be inundated with two legged people!

Another fine day today. 5C at time of writing but I think I heard it will reach a max of 13C!

Much pleasanter today, due mostly I think to the wind being less in evidence. It's still chilly in the shade but warm in sunny sheltered spots. It got down to 0 last night. A good drying day for the washing.

Do feel free to perhaps have another one!
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

            Thank you, LMP!

Much calmer today, as noted by other people here - otherwise much the same kind of weather, a good 5 degs C below what one might expect in mid-May; and in parts of Surrey it reportedly fell to MINUS 2 C last night.

Coat on for my cycle trip to the shops in a minute...

I think the weather should warm up again. Although, a bit on the cold side recently, it’s been sunny, if a tad blustery! Bit like in AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh!

No rain forecast here for another WEEK - which means we have had no rain for nearly THREE weeks, and then on;y a dribble. Farmers desperate.
                I mean...in MAY???

Well, May can go either way.

It rained here yesterday pm but not much. Bloody freezing though.
Blue sky and cloud today, still cold.

I didn’t go outside yesterday it I saw it was cold with what people were wearing. I hope it will be warmer today, so that I can wonder around my patch!

Cue the siffleur - John Amis I think it was - or am I misremembering?

John Amis sings 'I Wonder as I Wander' on an album entitled 'Music Making With Old Friends'. He also performs 'The Rose'.
