Stormy Weather II

the Saturday morning boat left 8.45am as normal - usually a 3.5hr journey to Heysham but still going with estimated arrival at 14.15 - a 5.5hr journey - suspect a rather uncomfortable crossing for those on-board - however the strong wind has suddenly ceased here and we appear to be in somewhat of a lull with misty light rain - the oil boat (now empty) is still at Peel breakwater in the outer harbour

Batten down the hatches tomorrow everyone, especially those living in coastal areas, in preparation for Storm Brendan ariving off the NW of Ireland and heading NE to the north of Scotland; and keep them battened down until Thursday at the earliest for re-runs.

Nice here today + 10 C and plenty of sunshine.
Batten down the hatches time though.
( snowdrops pushing through, and a primrose in full flower on the drive, which gets lots of morning sun. )I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
