It's just arriving here as I write, after a brilliant sunny and almost springlike morning. Blimey, it ain't half dark, mum!

Snow on biggest tops / ridges here, and MUCH colder elsewhere. Dry, braced for frost etc.

Hope not too bad for you up there!

Not too bad a day down south. Maybe around 7C!

Not that much milder here either, but at least the sun is out, visbility as clear as can be, and the air feels bracing. Downhill tomorrow, but we all stay in this mild airstream for the forseeable future. The longer the better, the shorter the winter!

Cooler here - around 7 degrees - but, yes, clear skies & sunshine.

                      Bright and sunny here too.
Made for a good Year 5 school trip to Tropical World and Roundhay Park (outdoor activities) in Leeds today, and I got home to find the solar power battery at pretty near full capacity.

A beautiful late afternoon here, still glimmers of light just before 5.00, and the most stunning moon rise over West Hants, as big as I have ever seen the moon look.
Think we could get a frost this evening, it was down to 4.0C by 4.30 having been up in the high 50s ( F) earlier.

Salisbury parkrun is back in business tomorrow morning after the recent minor flooding, but our group is heading out for a training run tonight, and keeping our next attempts on our parkrun PBs for another day.......

Thanks. We did a nice gentle 6k round the village roads and the odd field, with the lunar eclipse in full swing, or whatever it is lunar eclipses do. Really beautiful weather for jogging/ running, cool, dry, almost no breeze.

Well earned Rhubarb gin and tonic and seafood pasta afterwards.
                            ( and Sibelius 5 now )

Gale force gusts overnight + into Saturday here on the IoM - night boat + its return early Sat morning already cancelled with possible cancellation of rest of Saturday sailings (to be decided on Sat morning) - came back on last Tuesday's boat + was worst crossing I've been on in over 300+ sailings over last 15 or so years - unsurprisingly the boat was not very full! - the 'oil' boat (small tanker supplying mostly Peel power station +some oil/fuel suppliers) still at the breakwater - normally it would have been gone by now, maybe they are overnighting here.

Down here is rather blowy too. A windy day I think.
