Me too Lez - here in the "warm south"! Shouldn't be for too long as it's expected to warm up a bit over the next few days - beofre cooling off again!

Have to say, although it's been blustery, the winds haven't been anything like as strong hereabouts as we'd been led to anticipate. Wales and the SW have had the worst, we're told.

Just a smattering of rain today otherwise it’s been either overcast and rather blowy, with the sun coming out. Now hasxalmed Down, in what looks like going to be a good evening.

BUT garden looking richly after recent rain revived some and triggered others.
AND, boy, is it cold or what!
An absolutely vile day here! Heavy rain for most of the day, cold with a strong wind, local market cancelled and highly unpleasant to be out. The rain has revived some wilting flowers here too but the wind has destroyed the rest which looked so colourful in the Easter weekend sunshine just a few days ago.

Some heavy rain now and again, bit over busy wind, and then..............? Same every April, so...?
Lovely quiet morning, bit of a breeze, lots of sun and cloud, and............?? Same every April.......so?
            Nothing more up here.

A useful quantity of rain overnight which seems to have largely soaked in rather than run off. I will need to watch out for mollusc activity in the garden though, they will be very hungry!

Hoping for a better day today!

The reputation is undeserved, at least as far as the Friends Meeting House is concerned.

Also the wind makes problems we rarely have in Southampton Water.

An indeterminate(which reminds me, I still have some tomatoes to pot on) sort of day - mostly overcast, and a niggly chill breeze, so lights on at midday and an extra jumper and probably the woodburner on in he evening.

Note that BBM says near Brighton, not IN Brighton, vints!

Anything that could be caught by frosts should put off planting tender plants for the time being: it's going to be "one of those springs", ahem...

Oh, they're not going outside yet! They needed to be put into bigger pots though - with all the attendant problems of finding enough windowsill space and moving them off said space when the midday sun gets too fierce, etc etc...
