We had some SUN this p.m., and it was a little warmer than cool.

Too hot here today to do a long walk.

Same here - managed to do just the S Norwood and Crystal Palace parks before turning back due to pain onset in one leg. So, roughly four miles in total. Woodland areas are a gauntlet of tiny biting insects today - must be swarming time. Temperature reached a muggy 25 Celsius - less warm than I'd expected though the sun's strength made it seem more.

No, it's because you were on the cold side of the warm front on which you now find yourself on the warm side!

Interesting skies, Bbm, like something out of a Dali painting, and lots of thunder about, though looks like it might have leapfrogged us! Actually a few degrees higher than yesterday at noon - 27.5 C or 82 F in old money.

No sign of the torrential downpour/thunderstorms predicted for today, so the garden will need watering again tonight.
Very pleasant when I was in the middle of York a while ago: treated myself to a two-scoop ice cream: cinnamon, and cookies and cream. As a resident we can get a loyalty card, with the tenth one free. Hurrah!
