I hope I get my tickets for the Women's Beach Volleyball. I've already invested in a powerful pair of binoculars in anticipation, the better to appreciate the underhand flicks and other technicalities of this noble sport.

I am, of course, not privy to Mr Pee's penchant in matters erotic (pheeeieeeew!) but I feel it is my duty to inform him that all the women beach volley ball players I know, and I know a whole team, are of the sapphic tendency.

Now I realise that for a lot of Daily Mail reading red-blooded F1-watching heterosexual men (in HD) this is the stuff of rich fantasy but ....

Women beach volley-balls players of my acquaintance expect such matters to be taken on trust, Mr Pee and being ever-mindful of your delicate nature, I'd advise your acquiescence

However, there is a world of difference between all of those female volleyball players known to amateur and the residual population of female volleball players: most of whom, that are known to myself, are of the hetero persuasion.

I think I shall have to make the aquaintance of my local team of Female Beach Volleyballisters and put all this to some sort of practical test. Clearly, if they spurn my approaches, then Amateur is correct, because there can be no other explanation for any even vaguely heterosexually inclined female being immune to my charms, and if not..well, panjandrum will be proved right, and I'll have had a bloody good time into the bargain.


And talking of HD, Amateur, this has been the first time I've watched Wimbledon in this way, and I must say it looks wonderful. I particularly enjoyed Maria Sharapova's match earlier today......
