At half time, down 2-0 to Big Jim Goodwin's Alloa in the Cup and also reduced to ten men I switched the radio OFF, sad that the New Year was clearly as duff as the old one. Imagine my surprise that the MIGHTY Budds came back from the dead and stuck three away in the 2nd 45. My brother's comment was, 'I have just seen us win 3-2 and I have no idea how we managed it'.

17th in what is effectively Division 6 when I checked!
er Division6= if you don’t mind. Division 6N

Truro City, currently 18th in Division 6S drew today with Weston-super-Mare (147 miles) who, other than Torquay (84 miles) are their nearest neighbours in the division.

Oh, and a welcome win for the Owls today.

Sounds like your name is on the old tin pot, JC.

My week off, so I missed our second home win of the season. Always nice to beat Everton ,not that it happens often, although I could have done without the 4 mins of injury time stretching out to 8.

Benarek is going to turn into a very valuable asset, unless I am much mistaken. And good to see JWP back in favour and doing well.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Great result - yer new man at the top is making a real difference. Everton used to be a team I liked in England and then they brought in Big Sam...haven't gone back to them.

Watching the Sky live feed got a bit edgy near the end! But - 3 more points, every single one precious...
Milner off? The world is upside down....with defence-injuries and now suspensions, that's getting a bit edgy too...

Plenty of thrills on MotD tonight....

Lat - I think you could have the answer for a Scottish team to support after today's cup success could it be Auchinleck Talbot. Ayrshire, just north of Queen of the South.

A timely win for The Toon. Not so lucky for the Seagulls though.

Sorry to disappoint, it would make a good story.

... does the football team / do football supporters pronounce it 'AFFleck' [/ˌaflɛk/] or 'OKH-in-lek' [/ˌɒxɪnˈlɛk/]?
