My mate got suspended, and his under 12 team thrown out of the Sussex cup, after winning the semi final , because he failed to spot that one of his players was ineligible. He was the one that informed the FA of his error.
The opposition asked the FA If they could replay instead, as they wanted to win properly not by default, which was refused. And my mate had to tell the kids and parents that they were out of the cup, without even a chance of replaying.

Pretty typical stuff really. No doubt a manager running onto the pitch in a game like that would get the book thrown at him.

Bookings for removing the shirt are daft.

As a Man United fan, I say Klopp and Mourinho should be deported, pre-Brexit.

Possibly, but we need someone there who knows the Championship and someone who can stop the monstrous shipping of goals!

What I don't understand was why Klopp was not sent off...or perhaps he was. That's what happened when Neil Lennon did his aeroplane on the pitch at Easter Road after Hibs came back to draw 5-5 in extra time with them Ibrox chaps. No doubt about it, Lennon was having a wee dig at the Rangers' fans who taunt him endlessly during matches, but I doubt he'd have done it at Ibrox. Not sure how many games he got banned for, but I reckon he thought it worth every minute in the Stand.

Thanks for all the views - humorous, tongue-in-cheek, or not...!

I think both Klopp and Silva sum it up very well here (as Pep did the day before...bless him...)

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp accepts a charge of misconduct for running on to the pitch after his side's 96th-minute winner against Everton.

I think most fans get that Klopp is heart-on-sleeve, utterly spontaneous, in fact a true fan who has preserved a certain humility...

One's attitudes to emotion, and its place in various public affairs, is about as variable as humankind itself.... and I have some sympathy with Klopp if he's faced with some last-minute drama next Tuesday.
(Not to mention the rest of us.... neighbours probably at Anfield etc...OH boy...)

I think a lot of neutrals do like Klopp’s obvious enthusiasm and excitement, but not so much when its their own team involved ?!

Anyway, Palace aren’t having a good night of it. 3 down against 10 men in the M23 derby. Ouch.

Gurney, I feel your pain. Hope you manage to make it respectable at least.

Reminds me of that one when the Peterborough The then manager ran up and down the side of the pitch, Barry Guy or something?

And yet Palace anniliahted Burnley. Funny old game.

                      Any crowd trouble I wonder?

                        Barry Fry!

Though Barry Guy was an interesting figure in contemporary music.

I watched Newcastle and Burnley last week, and Burnley were awful. They must be in big trouble, because they simply don't have the quality of players that most other teams have. Palace will be OK, they are solid, good manager, and enough quality players to win them a few matches.

                            Annoying for various reasons:
                            a) to lose to long-standing rivals
                            b) to offer so little against 10 men having played so well on Saturday.
                            c) Replays showed it wasn't a penalty for Brighton's first goal.
                            d) My son came round and set up a live internet stream for us to watch, so we saw every second.

Consolations ... I think Palace are probably good enough to avoid the drop. New young midfielder, Max Meyer, signed from Schalke, looks to have great potential.

I'd have taken a draw at the beginning of the evening so 2-2 v Hibs is no too bad...and we scored two goals. Unfortunately Dundee did to Hamilton what the Buddies should have done on Saturday - we're one point off the bottom.
