Makes sense, to me at least, EA

I have nothing to back this up but instinctively I always believed Notts County was right but never Notts Forest. Oh - I've just seen Eine's post - yes - I would say yes to his analysis.

Good win, tough place to go. The natives are not always too hospitable thereabouts.

Sounds like Saints' half decent form continued today, but luck turned for the better. Bad luck for Palace to run into us on a good day, but they will be ok. Not sure Sparky got his subs right today, but we'll settle for bad substitutions and three points. I listened to bits of it through gaps in my fingers......
Now I do have Ings in my ff side.

Almost immediately he was flagged up as injured.

I thought "I'm not going to lose points by transferring out a transfer in I have just made" - and he played and scored so I'm satisfied.

Know what you mean anton, Owls three wins on the bounce! No such luck for the White Tigers who are wondering where their next point is coming from!

I think we should go mainly by the runes.

Wonga - remember them? - have just gone into administration.

              How wonderful.

A Wonga customer says she has little sympathy for the payday lender after its collapse into administration.

Newcastle United fans have expressed misgivings in a survey over the club entering into a sponsorship deal with Wonga

What d'ya mean? Fort William are making progress now. They've reached minus 8 points, up from minus 9.

Newcastle was my local team when I was a student a Durham and I have always been in sympathy with them. My next-door neighbour is a big fan and we had a mutual (Eagle and Magpie) consolation session yesterday.

How nice! I found out, recently, that my neighbour is a Magpie fan as well! He goes to all the home games! As you see, with my location!

Has any team in any league ever finished in negative points?

How on earth did Fort William get negative points - if it was for misdemeanours their cheating the system must be even worse than their football!

UEFA Nations League looks like it might be worth keeping an eye on It should favour smaller national teams like Wales, N Ireland and smaller E European nations with a bit more international exposure. Good to see Italy recover a bit of their form the other night, and a great result for Wales against NI 4:1. Actually, wondering whether to watch England v. Spain instead of the LNOTP ...
And the tune ends too soon for us all

I notice you didn't mention Scotland in there, Cbee! Swept aside by Belgium at home last night in a friendly - Albania next for us, this time in the Nations' League thingy!
