Having sent down Stoke, Palace could yet have a big part to play with their final fixture at home against WBA.

        Very interesting football day.

Well done, I guess, to Cardiff.

Weird stuff in Sunderland v Wolves.

Thoughts to Sir Alex - I hope Arsenal will issue a suitable statement.

Lots of fun at the Emirates with a 64 page souvenir programme and a grand finale for Arsene's last home game.

The Arsenal boss has just made friends with yet another weird-looking Premier League mascot. It turns out he's a big fan of the guys in big furry costumes

Amayyyzing result for Huddersfield against the Unmentionables.

        Wagner for Arsenal!!!!!!!

        Thanks!

That is pants Rob. And Leicester City must be playing the worst football in the Premier League.

              Season end quickly please!

                Have a good break, ER.

I'm on the case, although clearly I may get distracted, or lose the famous forum "reporter impartiality" over the next few days.

The play offs are a write off so far for the forum.......
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Longish day at work, game of 5 a side, and home in time for a breathless 90 minutes.

I thought we had the better chances overall, and just a touch more class than Swansea. And for once we seemed to get a little rub of the green. But that was one tough match.

We need to turn up fully focused on Sunday .

                        But for now....Hurrah !!

Looks like you’re safe ts, now Huddersfield need one point off Chelsea or Arsenal, or Swansea will survive with a win over Stoke.

Always going to be one of those goals wasn't it? "Yeeah - oh no, oh god...wait a minute - what the - did it go in?!? YEEEES!"
And as Gary Neville likes to say about 6 minutes of agony time, "you always get a chance"... which the Swans did... great chest control but ...phew! O-T-T!
Still tense to the wire, but Saints should be OK barring some VERY bizarre results...

My turn to get a little nervous about Sunday now...finishing 5th might just... well, you know.
