Palace keep doing ok and then throwing points away in the last five minutes. Most frustrating.

Glebe Park was heaving today...I love a trip to Brechin. Saints never in any danger though there were those moments when the fans got nervous and passed it on to the players. No help from Morton today v Livvie, so the Buddies still need, mathematically, one point from their remaining five games. The crowd left slightly disappointed, but I heard one Buddies' fan say, 'Who needs any help frae thae Greenock B******s anyway!'

Thanks for the excellent round-up, Rob.

Decent game, which we should have had something from.

At least we scored a couple , will take a bit if confidence into the Chelsea game, and Charlie is back doing the business. All is not yet lost.

Usual home/ big club ref, I’m afraid. How he missed the body check on Tadic , when looking straight at it, with nothing in the way, is impossible to understand.

Sorry to have been rooting for Arsenal, Saint, against my natural inclination. Dog eat dog down there.

                      Oh understood of course, Gurney.
I have really discounted Palace long since, as they should be good enough to pick up the points needed.

Anybody who can keep their nerve and hit a little run of form out of us, Swansea, Stoke and Huddersfield will get out trouble.

As an Arsenal supporter, the result today was bittersweet as I have known several Southampton fans and have always liked them.

I want Southampton to stay up.

I also want Crystal Palace to stay up because I think the effort Roy Hodgson has put in is excellent.

It keeps looking like West Brom, Stoke and one other to me...I keep thinking that Huddersfield look a bit rudderless and in big trouble, but the Southern Saintees still need to pick up two or three wins. I feel Crystal Palace will be fine - they've got goalscorers. That's my two bob's worth, anyway!

On a different front, one point v the Arabs tomorrow night will do it for us.

The foot of the Prem shows the perils of panic management change and whether it works. Should the 3 be West Brom and Stoke (2 clubs that may very well have survived if the change had not been made) and Southampton who maybe left the change too late!
