Live in hope, Rob, otherwise we end up supporting the unmentionables (we've got them up here too).

      Rob

Could we go one step further on the unmentionables tonight and not mention them at all.

      Thanks in anticipation.

I really can't be bothered with United these days. A good result and some smart tactics. But I'd rather they played excitingly and lost.

I blame Mourinho - forum members will remember I was always dead-against his appointment.

Er no, and if they played excitingly, lost and were relegated you'd be complaining!

Not that Palace actually deserved much from the match but sickening to concede in the 88th minute after fighting pretty well. Here we go again ...

Looks like you've nearly as many injured players as us gurn! Got the fight but 90 mins is a long time against better players!

No I wouldn't. We did get relegated and I didn't complain then. We didn't win anything for over 20 years and I didn't complain. I'm more interested in watching beautiful football than winning. I find Spurs, Arsenal, City and Liverpool more entertaining to watch.

Wow, City smashing Arsenal. I bet Pep Guardiola is now pleased that the FA turned down his request for a postponement for this fixture (he had requested a postponement on account of City having played on Sunday and Arsenal didn't).

                            Boom boom.

                            I'm not bothering with it.

Hopefully next year Man City will join Paris St Germain in a Davos superleague of two and let everyone else revive the meaning of competition.

nb It is just as well they are winning every match because he is such a terribly bad loser.

Just thinking about the Arsenal v unmentionables match last night. It’s all very well saying the pitch is alright for the game, but what about the fans safety in getting there and back?

Buddies' game in Dundee v Utd postponed tonight - had given up thoughts of going anyway...I think they probably made the decision for the benefit of the fans, Bbm. Mind you BBC Alba probably doesn't have as much clout as some other unmentionable channels - only clout with a shinty stick, I suppose!
