A great Sunday of fun as we celebrated our daughter's birthday with a trip to watch Palace v Newcastle. Good atmosphere and a game which the Eagles probably should have won, based on 2nd Half dominance. Our son has become by association a big fan of Philadelphia Eagles (closed book to me) and they were all heading for a second Eagles match by way of the Super Bowl live on screen at the Clapham Junction Grand (which we gave a miss and headed back to Wilts). It turned out to be a great night out for them and a win for his team. In between we had squeezed in a nice pint of London Pride at the Beehive St John's Hill, coincidentally only a stone's throw from where I went to school 50 years ago. We caught the bizarrely exciting end of the Spurs-Liverpool on TV there and had a delicious meal at an Eritrean restaurant just across the road.

FA trophy win sounds an absolute belter, Edge. I do hope your heart condition doesn’t prevent suitably orgiastic celebrations of extra time winners!

Enjoyed the Palace match on the telly on Sunday. I hope both teams stay up. Zaha injury a worry; Foxes have their own problems with Riyad.

Just discovered this thread. I'm a Manchester United fan but follow all the English Leagues down to Vanarama North (Salford City are my interest there) and the SPL. Also try to catch up with the Dutch Top Flight when I can. I shall follow this thread with interest and may make the occasional modest contribution!

Unbelievable power out of nowhere, jayne! Mind you, Leicester's goalie very poor for the third and fourth goal... De Bruyne quite brilliant...his movement is a delight to watch... for the neutral!

We also have the Champions League to look forward to this week, with an unprecedented 5 English clubs in the knockout stage. And we still have a Scottish and an English club in the Europa League.

Good comments John. Thought the score flattered them just a little.

Me too, Alison. Schmeichel just doesn't look the shot stopper he was a couple of seasons ago. One big thing for Leicester is whether Mahrez fits in or gets on his bike...again.
