Dodgy penalty decision (video) in N.Ireland v Switzerland World Cup Qualifier, even though Switzerland were by far the better team overall.

Absolutely outrageous decision. The ramifications for such huge faux pas by officials enormous. Surely, instant video scrutiny has to be made mandatory at such high-tariff games.

Absolutely. Should be in place for all league games, since the are all filmed.

I do sometimes wonder about decisions like that, I'm sorry to say. And if in doubt.....

              Yes indeed.

At one time I would have said no but it is getting ridiculous.

I see Kane, unfit for England, is fit to play against Arsenal.

Given all the money of the Top Six teams, I find it incredible that there are only half a dozen half-plausible out and out strikers.

(And God forbid when any of the other fourteen of wealth lose a goalkeeper - it must all be stashed away on windswept islands)

Just checked Nat League South Truro 3rd P16 on 30 and Chelmsford 9th P16 on 27. 4 points separate 2nd and 10th. Tough at the top even for minnows!

A question for Rob. What is the significance of the dotted lines on the league tables:

Find out which football teams are leading the pack or at the foot of the table in the National League N / S on BBC Sport

surely 7 teams are not in a playoff sitn?

They are indeed, new format. Teams finishing fourth to seventh play against each other ( I think over two legs as is familiar ) Then the winners play a one off game eliminator away to the teams finishing 2nd and 3rd and then there is the traditional play off final !

Only the top club gets promoted while six teams are involved in the play offs.

Thanks Alison and Zola. It appears quite complex but then I suppose like League 2 - 7th can be promoted!

Thanks edge, I didn't catch that one - so with the lottery odds many sides are in the mix, hope for Hangers, anton!
