But by the time I was old enough to go to my first match, it had to be Stockport County.
Always interesting to hear of footballing allegiances. Here in Cornwall with no league side in the Duchy, there is some support for Truro City, but quite a few more supporting Plymouth Argyle, but Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea seem to be the most supported sides, but I have found a couple more Owls fans! Intrerestingly there a few Wolves supporters who claim their allegiance arose because they play in Cornish Black and Gold.

I've noticed a few Wolves flags and banners in Cornwall, although of course that could just as easily be the M5 factor.

Saints used to have Yellow/Gold and Black as their away colours, adopted from the colours of the Hampshire regiment. This season we have a ( rather stylish for once) imitation of the Inter Milan away kit. A sign of the times.......

My brother, a true grouch not given to hyperbole, said they were awesome. In all my years Awesome and St Mirren are two words I have never associated with each other. 'Garbage', 'Woeful', 'Awnaw!' yes, but never Awesome. Sitting 3rd with board derby up next in a couple of weeks v ICT.
The Perth Saints slightly unfortunate not to end Celtic's unbeaten domestic record which stretches to over 50 games. Probably got a better chance versus PSG.

Chelmsford City's result eagerly anticipated tomorrow!

There was me thinking Chelsea and Spurs had both won having seen score flashes without checking final scores.

Quite pleased Arsenal have lost their two games after not really deserving to beat Leicester.

                  Fantastic stuff Mirren.

No probs, ER, always happy to fill in , even in these days of huge squads and seven on the bench.
Have a great holiday. Sounds like fun.

I must try to find out where Fort William's results get posted ........

                      Thanks ts.
Getting details for games below conference and Scottish div 2 is not easy.
The BBC site doesn't even give goal times, just results and league tables, flash score isn't always updated quickly, and the respective league sites sometimes don't get updated until the following day.

On the BBC's teletext page 316.

Fort William is quite a substantial and thriving town, yet it lingers at or close to the bottom of the Highland League, below what are barely "village" teams. It's inexplicable.
