Palace ("South London's Number One") have now achieved their longest stay in the the top league - five years. This fan didn't relax until we went 3-0 up. Despite deserving to win they also had some luck in ref's decisions.

Another great result for Inverness tonight...against the odds they're taking their survival attempt to the last game of the season. Need to beat Motherwell and hope Hamilton don't get a win to get into the relegation play-offs.

By the way we always like a good OG as long as it's not against our own team. This is a beauty!

                      Getting nervy at Hillsborough...pens anyone!

Really bad luck Cloughie. We lost on pens to Derby in 2007, so I know it's no kind of fun.
I'm sure you'll get to the crazy promised land , where £10m strikers sit on the bench before you can say " at least we get 6 easy points off the blades next season".

Mrs TS has is Huddersfield born, and her many Town supporting relatives will be beside themselves with excitement, I imagine. Its been a long time in the wilderness, for a real football and sports town.

A rather end of seasonish affair at SMS tonight, although passably entertaining, despite united being in preservation mode.
