Top half is a good finish for any non big city club, I'd say. Top half and a cup final is a very decent season.

          Jolly good show from Chelmsford.

The two hit penalty from Mahrez cost me dear as a 2-2 draw would have bagged me £150!!

Would have to say a good spot from the ref I suppose ....

I hope your manager stays Sainty.
          Tough luck on Chelmsford, Alison.

                Stalemate, according to BBC sport......

Palace safe, which always looked pretty likely, although I doubt Palace fans were seeing it that way.
                Full round up later.......

The phrase 'everything to play for' seems more than usually apt, Cloughers.

The vegan windmill club from Nailsworth are now members of the Football League.

Forest Green Rovers claimed a place in the Football League for the first time after beating Tranmere Rovers 3-1 in the National League play-off final at Wembley

Yep. Well done to FGR, and very tough to take for a big club like Tranmere.

                      Hangovers at the office tomorrow........

It's absolutely magic for a small rural town - and they'll be playing Coventry, at least one of Blackpool and Luton and have derby matches with Swindon.

                          Sunday Special.

                          Palace 4 Hull City 0.
Palace safe, Gurney pleased. All sounds fairly emphatic.
If only Sam could chew gum with his mouth closed.....

                          West Ham 0 Liverpool 4.
In the driving seat for a CL spot now.

                          Tottenham 2 Man Utd 1.
Spuds win the Beef Oven! derby, in the last game at WH Lane, before they move to WH Lane.

Huddersfield Town 0 Owls 0. Good result for the Owls, but still a bit of work to do.

Carlisle 3 Exeter City 3. Sounds like City were unlucky. Must be every chance that Paul Tisdale will get them to wemberlee.

Happy for Tottenham to get the three points, they’ve been better value all season.

They're a very good side, and good to watch.
Saints fans tend to be very anti Tottenham, because of Mopo, Vic, toby etc, ( and ones of my generation because Hoddle always kept Steve Williams out of the England team, not that we are bitter or anything !!) Hope they go one better next season, but they'll need to buy, I think.

Williams was a brilliant player, the real deal.

Tottenham have been the best team to watch this season. And they will at least have to strengthen the bench - they’ve got 13 top players and they will need 16/17.

Sorry to hear of your spurs-related misfortunes, stretching back to the days of Hoddle, but glad you’ve got over it and aren’t bitter.
