Doesn't get much better than that.
      Pints of heavy all round.
Brilliant stuff ts, and thanks all. I was stuck on a West Coast Island in the middle of a storm on Tuesday evening, power and communication all down for the whole night. Cards by candlelight, it was, so I didn't hear the score till Wednesday afternoon. Actually ts, the Soap Dodgers haven't been doing us any favours losing to all our closest rivals. Jack Ross has been doing a great job since the New Year. We were double-digit points adrift at the bottom a couple of months back. Still work to do - good draw against promotion chasing Falkirk today. But we're third from bottom with three games remaining - Arabs next!

Thanks for the round up Rob and the new place is looking good from up here.

Spurs have still got Palace who have recently seen off both Chelsea and Gunners. We were at Selhurst for yesterday's fighting comeback against Leicester. At 2-0 their fans were taunting us with: "We are Champions League, you are Championship!" .....Pride cometh etc. Palace nearly nicked it and they are a mighty two points ahead of in the table. We had great day out for our son's 33rd concluding with a couple of pints at Brick Brewery, Peckham and a meal at the nearby highly recommended Artusi restaurant.

Not bad! But I liked Shaqiri's v Hull more...scarcely a backlift, then it took wing...a player I love to watch.

I like too the way Liverpool are finally managing to grind out those 1-0 and 2-1 away wins. Not thrilling to watch (apart from a hilarious last 5 minutes at The Hawthorns) but very important for the team's grittier self-belief, never mind CL access, attracting better players etc...

Speaking of which, good luck Foxes! A tougher proposition with Atletico than Sevilla though. Huth will be missed. Stay tight now.
And what about Barça - could they do it again? (Without refereeing assistance...? ). I suspect Juve (Serie A champions the last 5 years!) are just too streetwise, they won't lose their grip the way PSG did...

Thanks for a sterling weekend's reporting ER. Much appreciated, and much easier than following the BBC site.

Well done BBM, some deserved good news for you. Looking forward to a couple of feisty clashes with BHA next season, always just the right amount of edge in these games.

Three South coast teams in the PL next season must surely be a first .

Stockport need a big slice of luck now. Lets hope they get it.

Worrying time for Hartlepool. dreadful result today.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.
