Since I left for a brief trip to Germany , Saints have lost another manager and another match.
Standard.
Sorry 'bout all that. Rip it up and start again, I suppose, ts.
Buddies are still in with an outside chance of a top-six finish, but they need to beat Ross County in Paisley tomorrow and hope that Hearts fail to win in Motherwell. A win for Motherwell with Saints failing to win would give Motherwell the remaining place, and allow them to fight for the right to play diddy European teams in diddy Euro leagues....I'll take a win to start with....come on Buddies.
They’llhave Shea back from us ready for the Champ campaign and possibly our manager too!
I assume that Rohl would choose Leipzig over us, but we will see.
Charles ought to be a big asset for us next season. We will need him with big Les back at Chelsea.
Any kind of midfield dynamo would be nice, old or new.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I doubt if we can attract somebody better.
though what he would make of, say, a trip to the New Den is an unknown .
Saints fought hard today, and looked well organised, but a really one sided referee and Villa’s vast superiority in quality finally told.
Ramsdale has the dubious distinction of saving 2 pens and still losing 3-0.
But for one poor refereeing decision we might have survived to scrape a point, but ‘ twasn’t to be of course.

Well, come to Paisley, anton. I'm out in the Hebs just now and trying to follow the hurly-burly, topsy-turvy, roller-coaster of a Saturday afternoon from a Scottish Island isn't easy. Buddies eventually saw off Ross County late on in a five-goal thriller at Paisley's SMISA stadium.
Meanwhile the also-rans played out a turgid nil-nil in Motherwell. Saying that, the Jam-Tarts had the chance late on to deprive the Buddies of top-six, but fluffed their lines. So, no relegation for the Saints this time round; we'll be back here next season; but five games await against the top-five...sixth and I imagine we'll be sixth come May. But who cares!!?? Great result for Stevie and the boys.
....Saint Jack Stephens and Gronbaek seem to have been your central pair that every manager picks for several seasons....time for a change???....Walker Peters looks quite good going forward (and serious in intent)...............anyway hard luck going down....looks like the Gas will go down too (BR bit of a joke - on and off field)
