You will surely rise again - maybe as early as next week!

There are currently by my knowledge of the last 60 plus years 14 clubs in the 5th tier with league experience and at least 6 in 6th and below. That’s some queue to get back in!

Anton ....do you have a grass pitch at Victoria Park....surely a lot of the teams you play against have plastic /grass hibred pitches....if so, that must be a huge disadvantage...quite different tactics....

          Lovely.
( We were really awful tonight, in case of doubt)

Another 3-1 defeat. Played much better, but made errors on all three goals. So that was that.

hope your teams are doing much better . The Owls on a nice run.

Tractor Boys are still above the relegation zone (just!)

Indeed, ts, a surprising 8 days with 7 points - Shea Charles looks to have slotted in very well - should you grab him back in Jan I think he would be missed!

Looks like an early battle for 17th place for the Saints.

anton - where did that goalfest at the Victoria come from?

Can’t see Charles being recalled in Jan ( if that is possible) as we need to move players out. If we had a serious midfield crisis , it might change. He has loads of ability, but he probably needs a full season in the Championship before returning to us in , er, whatever division we are in next season !

Another reverse means only one win in ten for the Buddies. Last season we went on runs of wins and defeats...could do with a positive run. Still sixth, but the teams in front are starting to stretch away.
Aberdeen with their new manager, the Swede, Jimmy Thein, have been a revelation and seen an elevation - my Dons supporting nephew has vertigo...after their win against Hearts at the weekend they went nineteen points clear of the Jam Tarts - nobody could have predicted that or their seven straight wins, though they are still second behind Celtic on goal difference and have the 'tic up next.

A quote from reporter Don Howson on-line

Charles and Bannan can lead Wednesday to great things

The young midfielder is highly rated by Southampton and it’s proved a bit of a coup getting him signed on at Hillsborough.
Charles does look like the perfect foil alongside Bannan given that he’s got the energy and guile to support the captain and get high up the pitch.
At 20-years-old the player looks set for a very bright future in the game and the Owls can thrive with him in the team this season.
The beauty of the youngster is that he can get high up the pitch but he’s also not afraid to get stuck in defensively.
