If wasn’t an optimist I’d say they’ll probably play the Owls next season!

Sainty, I really enjoyed, while watching 'Shetland' this evening on the Beeb, that one of the characters had named a pet lamb 'Che', not after Fidel's old buddy, but after Scotland's centre forward, your very own, and our own, Mr Adams. Brilliant!

A welcome win for the Buddies by the odd goal in one . Still three points is three points - still third, twelve clear of the automatic relegation spot.

Foxes 2 Hornets 0. A welcome brace for Vardy.
A handy win with Ipswich, Saints and Leeds all dropping points.

Just chalk up your 3 points now, Alison. One of my singing group friends is a Foxes fan so bragging rights unlikely to come my way!

Turning it into a procession .
West Brom look a handy outfit, and are on a decent run.
Saints were poor in the second half, yet again, and were deservedly pegged back late on. Can’t make up my mind about this team, or manager. I can’t really see what he is trying to achieve with the unusual style and method.
two tricky looking games this week against Bristol City and Cardiff.

Sky have moved the kick-off to 7.45 p.m. on Boxing Day - nu buses or trains, so probably plenty of parking problems. My season-ticket-holder friend up the road, who usually goes by bus so that he can sink a few post-match jars in the pub next to the ground, is going to leave his car a couple of miles from Portman Road and walk the rest of the way. He's heard that our American owners will be getting the cheque-book out when the transfer window opens.
