Yes indeed, ts. The game was on live on the BBC Scotland Channel last night. I was very impressed with the way that Darvel saw the game out. After the game the goalscorer, Jordan Kirkpatrick was asked if they would be having a few beers this evening and he said, 'I need to phone my boss to see if he'll let me off. I'm supposed to be working tonight.' Then they interviewed the Darvel goalie asking the same question, and he said, 'I don't think so. Saturday afternoon at SMS for me today.
The usual patchy effort by our lads, but we were at least rewarded with a competitive game, and two excellent goals. Perraud’s free kick was a thunderbolt effort

A handy three points takes us into the top six, saint, and ten clear of automatic relegation. Next up is Aberdeen midweek. The Dons were scudded six zilch by Hibs, that after their trouncing by Hearts last week and the cup humiliation against Darvel on Monday - that was enough to see the manager get his coat, as Goodwin defied his nominative determinism once too often.
